Dear Sir
After watching and listening to the political comment on the wonderful people of Hong Kong as they peacefully protest the stupidity of your governments choices of going back on its promise made with the people and the government of the United Kingdom. The insistence of choosing the candidates for the chief executive of the ex crown colony after making the promise is to my mine an act of treason against the people of China by the rulers. It makes no sense what so ever other than shear bloody mindedness on the part of your leaders
What is wrong with your government in China that you cannot allow rule by the will of the people. Here in the United Kingdom we have just exercise our right to democratic freedom with the Scottish referendum and we are still a United Kingdom. I hope that has proved some thing to the world about the sense of the democratic process. It seems that your government like many others in the world who are oppressive and just down right violent have to behave as if the ruling party’s are the old emperor and his court or the British Empire.
In a truly egalitarian society you do not appoint the representatives of the people you elect them by free choices. That was the origin of your own revolution that the people of China suffered to bring down the tyrant oppressors to usher in choices and freedom of democracy. The revolution sadly failed as the party acted as a tyrant supported by a corrupt hierarchic of local mini tyrants at least that how it seems to, out side observers and visitors. As it dose with Mr Putin and the Russian system and for many governments around the world. I do not exclude the British government from, this criticism though it cannot get away with quite as many atrocity’s as we see else where. At least not since the Evil Mrs Thatcher and her attack on the working people of this country. We are currently run by Mr Cameron who is not to many paces away from the sickness and evil that was perpetrated by the late Mrs Thatcher . He and his party are back tracking to a state of what may be called Neo feudalism, In China you seem to be all ready there in a Neo Feudal state.
The honest and truly free thinking people who inhabit this planet understand their is only one race of people and one planet. It is time that we had one government for the world based on the United Nations as a federation of stake holder tribal and ethnic groups. There are in truth no country’s they are just capitalist fantasy’s of the evil rich and power brokers who seek to feed their greed. We can see this by the way the boundary’s that have been imposed on people keep breaking down and the wars that issue from this industrial capitalist complex greedy economic division of geographical locations.
I personally think that a blanket ban on all imports from China apart from those that come from Hong Kong may well sort out the problem of your oppression of the people of Hong Kong I personally think we should have given them independence rather than handing them back to the oppression of main land China.
As to the idea that your government and the Putin government or for that matter any government in the world can say that people outside their borders have no right to inter-fear. That is just ridiculous every government and its actions in the world effects every other government and the people living under their jurisdiction . We only have one world one environment and one people all belonging to one race the human race . All actions and all decisions can only be taken in that light, that knowledge and should be done with the consultation of all the people of the planet.
The fact that we do not do this ! Dose not make it right . It just means that we continue to make a complete mess of our planet, our environment and cause the hurt and pain, suffering, starvation and wars that we see raging around the place to day.
Please make a sensible decision and give the people’s of Hong Kong what they want. A free elected democracy. You never know it might help make the world a better place .
