The documentary shown on the BBC made by the doctor working in the down town Baghdad hospital spoke volumes about the reality of the situation its more like the gun and knife and binge drinking gang warfare that exists in some towns and city’s here in Britain taken to the a much more violent level.
type this world in the search box and play the video on the Allie Yamok hospital its a great eye opener.
The conclusion that I draw from watching this is, the only thing that will truly make a difference is if the normal average Baghdad citizen like the hospital porters, the paramedics, the wives, the street cleaners, the working class citizen actually makes a protest against the violence. As the peace marchers in Northern Ireland, The black rights equality protest in the USA, the German people taking down the wall in Berlin. The revolution in Rumanian that brought down the soviet government, The thing that is quite apparent is that change in any society has to come from within it can not be imposed by religion or by the state. The state is always at the services of the people otherwise it is oppressing the people.
The people of Iraq have to over throw the the radical Clerics and the terrorist insurgents. The role of the US military and the British military can only be to support a peoples protest and to assist the people in implementing their will on the violent minority.
The only way any people has of getting a peaceful free society is if you are prepared to lay down your life to get in the form of passive resistance The radicals here in Britain have been defeated not so much by any thing the government has done but more by the locals sensible Muslim people who don’t care about the religious fanatics who are just pushing their own evil agendas. The real people of the book here in east London threw out the radical preachers , The evil men who don’t believe in freedom of speech. Who are the un Islamic among us. We all know in our hearts that the law of Blasphemy is a an un workable law in a modern society. Sensible people accept that there should be no such law as Blasphemy. We here in Britain fought that sort of evil in equality and prejudice against the true will of god when the gay movement fought to free those arrested for publishing a gay poem about a centurions love for Jesus of the cross that the Christian tried to have banned under the blasphemy laws.

It is Blasphemous as far as I can see to think that man has any part to play in the defence of the almighty any way and any fundamentalist that thinks that way had better beware the punishment the almighty has in store for them in return for their arrogance.
