BOSTON—Two families filed a lawsuit on Thursday against a Massachusetts

town and its public school system

after a teacher read a gay-themed fairy tale to children without notifying them first.

The suit against Lexington, about 12 miles west of Boston, seeks unspecified damages after the book

“King & King” was read to a classroom of about 20 mostly 7 years olds.

It is believed the first of its kind, the families’ lawyers said.

The complaint said the school had “begun a process of intentionally

indoctrinating very young children to affirm the notion that

homosexuality is right and normal in direct denigration of the plaintiffs’ deeply held faith.”

 THE FOLLOWING IS A RESPONSE IN THE DISCCUSSION

 Having a Master’s degree(or two or three…) doesn’t make one a child development expert. I have a Master’s degree too but it’s in mathematics.

Please direct me to where the A.M.A. and A.P.A states that seven year olds are ready to learn about same-sex marriage. Better yet, I’ll just ask my good friend up the street who is a pediatrician when the A.P.A came out with that recommendation. I’ll also ask my husband who is a physician what the A.M.A has to say.

Not eveyone believes curriculum should include this particular type of diversity training for seven year olds.

You keep saying that people who have my opinion think LEGALLY MARRIED GAY people should be hidden. No. I just don’t think my child should be taught this information by the public schools at the age of seven.

THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO THESE COMMENTS

I agree its to early for a child to be taught any sort of ideas about any kind of relationships.
So they should not be with any perants either same sex or one of either sex at such an early age.
They should be brought up be machines till they are old enough to learn that adults are a crazy bunch of people who are so screwed up. No adults should not be allowed to have children at all.
Right on the test tube babies is what I say. Bring on the matrix.
I do believe in fairy’s I not sure I believe in Christians though I think they have been made up to scare us all.

 

 I find it a very scare thought that people who can go as far as trying to get redress through the courts on the grounds of school fairy tale book about a same sex relationship .

 that stament sound as if  they are back on the witch finder general trail again to me .
