Hinduism also rates Zarathrustra but as a support to the multi faceted nature of the incarnations and facets of Vishnu.

On a personal level I use the brother sun sister moon principals to manifest my spirit on the face of the cosmos Its a crude form of shamanism but it works for me and I am a great believer in simplistic resolutions to complex problems, a bit of a hedge witch really rather than a great magical mover probably because I was brought up catholic.

At creations most basic level it all comes from the same pot there is truly no good, bad,evil or perfect there is existence. The manipulation of existence by cumulative force of will, that can be anything depending on the guiding principal from which the force is emanating. For example Blair and Bush are not inherently bad but the force that is driving them to do the things in the world they are doing is potentially bad, The leaders of Islam are not inherently bad or evil either but the forces that are leading them to oppose what Bush and Blair are visiting on them is potentially dangerous to us all at the moment the world is dominated by the Abraham religions.

The third is from an obscure prophecy he made about a saviour who was coincidently to unite the family. Fat chance of that with the Christians I think but hey may be in time who knows?

Hinduism has no record of Abraham and the Buddhists recone that man if enlightened is above all the god/ goddess thing any way, although it still allows for shamanism and is my prefferance option if I am to have any religious leanings nowadays .

I personally find the Tibetan book of living and dyeing a more comforting read in the search for true enlightenment and freedom. 

 

The Celtic thing has held a lot of interest for me. It is the merging of the Celtic with the Christian as the culmination of the Celtic faith in northern Europe that has my greatest attention. In the prophesy of Tubergen who after asking for relief for his followers from forced conversion to Christianity from the holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne when denied and Charlemagne slaughtered his retinue of followers as a message to the rest of the Celtic practitioners Tubergen retired to his grove and told his followers to hide for 2000 years as it would take that long for the old ways to be reborn at the present time I believe we stand on the verge of a renaissances of old cultures and that we as pagans need to carefully p repair our selves for what is to come as the collapse of world civilisation and culture is at hand and we will be the meek that Christ said would inherited the earth as the rest of society will possible obliterate its self so it may be us and the cockroaches. If in the end we are all subjectedc to nuclear encounters.
